Great Great Grandmother's Mirror Restoration

I decided to replicate the style of my Barrister's Bookcase with the new frame for my mirror restoration.  It came out pretty good, but this thing weighs over 35lb and was a bear trying to hang it at the top of the ceiling without dropping it.

The old mirror frame had become so degraded that in some parts of it felt like Styrofoam.  It lost the ability to hold mounting screws over 25yr ago.  I just kept lugging this thing around for nearly 40yr until I finally decided to do something about it.  I am luck to have not destroyed it by now as it has traveled the country several times.

(below) Damage and desilvering occurring on the mirror over time.
