Here is a widefield shot of the adaptive optics device, showing the Coude Feed device that travels more than
40 feet straight up to the 41" reflector in one of Yerkes' domes. The Coude Feed can deliver light to the adaptive
optics device at any angle the telescope happens to be pointing. What this means is that as the telescope
tracks across the sky following a star, the Coude Feed keeps everything perfectly centered on the Imager.
